One of the classic locations for fall colors in the Southern Appalachians is Bob and Stratton Balds (generally called Bob’s Bald) at 5,341 feet in the Nantahala National Forest.  We went up to the bald on the South Fork of Citico Creek Trail and returned down the North Fork of Citico Creek.
