We floated the Clinch on this July day and stayed quite cool. Put in below Norris Dam, took out at Highway 61, near Clinton. Saw some wildlife, and although the generators got a late start, we managed to get most of the way downriver with low water. The releases from the dam finally caught up to us when we stopped due to a thunderstorm, in the last hour or so of the trip. (Next time we’ll start later and catch the flow.)
